Job summary

Inland is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist to coordinate purchase orders for materials and inventory through approved vendors. You will ensure cost-effective pricing and favorable delivery terms, acting as the main liaison between suppliers, internal departments and end users to maintain smooth purchasing workflow.

You will respond quickly to requests, track orders, and ensure all documentation is accurate.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Finance.
• 3 years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes, place and expedite orders with approved suppliers; create purchase orders.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with policies and budget.
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain inventory levels aligned with goals and management direction.
• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery; resolve issues with suppliers.
