Job summary

gpac has partnered with an established manufacturing company to recruit a hands-on Purchasing & Inventory Manager. You will lead purchasing strategies, manage inventory accuracy, and optimize supplier performance to minimize shortages and disruptions.

The role requires strong ERP/MRP skills, supplier negotiation expertise, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with raw materials, steel, fabrication, or machining preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and supplier negotiation experience.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate supplier pricing and terms, monitor vendor performance, and expedite critical materials.
• Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and corrective actions.
• Reduce shortages, excess inventory, material costs, and production disruptions.
