Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management experience.
• Strong preference for electrical distribution experience.
• Knowledge of electrical products, manufacturers and supplier networks.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with ERP systems and Excel.
• Experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, HVAC, plumbing or manufacturing procurement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, inventory replenishment, and supplier relationships.
• Maintain high product availability while controlling inventory investment.
• Negotiate pricing, rebates, freight programs, and payment terms.
• Monitor demand trends, lead times, and stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Identify and reduce excess or slow-moving inventory.
• Partner with vendors to support product training and sales enablement.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to improve performance and profitability.
• Develop scalable purchasing processes and controls.
