Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to manage Parts, Garments & Accessories suppliers and support on-time product delivery to Polaris distribution facilities.

You will work across purchasing and demand planning, coordinate purchase quantities, and drive inventory, fill rate, and service-level goals. The role emphasizes supplier relationship management, PO execution, negotiation, and issue resolution to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned suppliers to drive consistent performance.
• Review system-recommended purchase quantities and collaborate with demand planning analysts.
• Approve purchase orders, monitor delivery performance, and expedite orders as necessary.
• Coordinate and communicate with multiple departments to support business, inventory, and customer service objectives.
• Resolve backorder issues to meet goals.
• Negotiate costs, lead times, MOQs, and EOQs.
• Execute supplier cost-reduction and inventory-reduction initiatives.
• Analyze and resolve supplier invoicing and PO discrepancies.
• Proactively identify urgent issues and communicate them to the supervisor.
