Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Lead for Service Parts to develop and execute sourcing strategies that ensure availability of service parts and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with Product Development, Engineering, and Quality to drive performance across delivery, cost, and service objectives. The role requires managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and leading sourcing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sourcing or related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of supply contracts involving domestic and international suppliers.
• Advanced knowledge of commodity markets and data analysis for sourcing strategies.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and manufacturing process controls.
• Strong communication across cross functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing and multi-year commodity strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure capacity for Polaris volume.
• Monitor supplier performance and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Lead sourcing projects, quotes, evaluations and supplier selections.
• Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements for cost savings.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and supplier transitions.
• Apply should-cost modeling and market data for decisions.
• Manage project requirements, schedules, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine root causes and containment plans.
• Resolve shortages, pricing issues, and invoice discrepancies.
