Job summary

Polaris Inc. seeks a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the electrical category strategy and supplier development. You will drive cost performance, continuity, and cross-functional collaboration across Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, engineering, planning or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and deliver results through others.
• Experience in complex negotiations and supplier agreements.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities including total-cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Electrical sourcing team with clear ownership and accountability.
• Develop multi-year category strategies integrating roadmaps, market intel and costs.
• Direct negotiation strategies, sourcing events, and long-term supplier agreements.
• Forecast capacity, identify constraints, and mitigate supply continuity risks.
• Strengthen supplier base via consolidation, regionalization, and strategic dev.
• Guide contract strategy, risk mitigation, and supplier agreements.
