Responsibilities

• Review and analyze purchase requisitions.
• Source and evaluate suppliers; investigate sources of supply.
• Prepare and solicit bids.
• Negotiate purchases and terms of goods and services.
• Prepare purchase orders and distribute to suppliers and requesting departments.
• Communicate sourcing requirements across technical, quality, legal, and commercial domains.
• Support procurement strategies to meet cost objectives and ensure adequate delivery schedules.
• Maintain long-term supplier relationships at appropriate management levels.
• Resolve purchasing issues with vendors and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Control, Production Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Accounting.
