Job summary

Smith Industries Ltd is seeking a Buyer in West Texas to manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services. You will review requisitions, source vendors, negotiate contracts, and track deliveries to ensure on-time, on-budget purchases.

Responsibilities include expediting orders, evaluating products, maintaining procurement records, and staying current on market trends. The role requires strong Excel/Word skills, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

• Determine the method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid.
• Evaluate products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items.
• Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budget limits and scope of authority
