Job summary

Wurth International Trading America is seeking a senior procurement leader to manage strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and long-term contracts. You will drive value through performance metrics, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across the Würth Group.

The role emphasizes traditional purchasing activities, master data governance in SAP, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and supplier service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related.
• 10+ years in Purchasing Strategy and Operations, with trading knowledge (import/export).
• Long-term supplier management and development; contract & agreement negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with procurement platforms.
• Multilingualism is a plus; ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Stakeholder satisfaction focusing on response and resolution times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic procurement for product ranges; search and assess suppliers.
• Negotiate and review long-term contracts and purchasing conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost and performance improvements.
• Onboard new suppliers; manage framework agreements and rebates.
• Lead cross-functional engagements, supplier talks, and industry events.
• Maintain master data in SAP/SRM and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Collaborate across Würth locations and support digital procurement tools.
