Job summary

Wurth Industry US is seeking a Buyer - Import to lead strategic procurement of internationally sourced products and manage supplier relationships. You will drive negotiations, optimize landed costs, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, cost-efficient imports while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement with a focus on import operations, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, international business, logistics, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 3–5 years of procurement experience with emphasis on international sourcing and import operations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain, Incoterms, landed cost analysis, and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing decisions for imported materials based on demand, forecasts, and cost targets.
• Manage purchase orders, negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery with global suppliers.
• Monitor trade regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with logistics to schedule and track international shipments.
