Job summary

Pentair is recruiting a Territory Sales Manager for North Aurora, IL, covering the Northeast region. You will drive profitable growth by developing distributor strategies, expanding project specifications, and converting demand into revenue for Pentair’s pump solutions.

You will manage opportunities end-to-end, build strong partner networks, and present Pentair’s value to engineers, consultants, and owners. Travel 50-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of B2B sales in a distribution-led environment.
• Ability to develop and execute territory plans and grow distributor performance.
• Knowledge of pumps or fluid-handling equipment a plus.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy to achieve bookings, revenue and margin targets.
• Lead and monitor distributors/channel partners to joint business plans and growth targets.
• Influence engineers, consultants, contractors, and owners to specify Pentair solutions.
• Manage opportunities end-to-end from specification through quotation and close.
• Activate new distributor relationships and expand coverage in emerging markets.
• Communicate Pentair’s value to technical and commercial audiences via meetings and trainings.
• Maintain territory forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and CRM activity.
