Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across an assigned Northeast territory while based in the United States. The role focuses on developing distributor/channel strategies, expanding project specification influence, and converting demand into revenue for commercial pump solutions.

You will lead distributor relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and deliver end-to-end opportunities from specification to close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Proven B2B sales in a distribution-led environment.
• 5+ years of sales experience; ability to develop and execute territory plans.
• Demonstrated ability to grow distributor performance and win project-based business.
• Knowledge of pumps or adjacent fluid-handling equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy across commercial pump markets to achieve bookings, revenue, and margin targets.
• Lead and hold distributors/channel partners accountable to joint business plans and market coverage expectations.
• Drive demand by influencing engineers, consultants, contractors, and owners to adopt Pentair solutions.
• Manage opportunities end-to-end from specification through quotation and order execution.
• Travel 50-60% to represent Pentair at events, meetings, and customer visits.
