Job summary

Churchill County seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee capital improvement, infrastructure, facility and public works projects from concept through completion. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, utilities, and county departments to deliver on scope, budget and timeline while supporting county leadership and public service goals.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and a collaborative approach to solving community challenges and advancing county growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4 years of relevant public works project management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, consultant or contractor coordination and contract administration.
• Knowledge of public procurement, grants, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages capital improvement, infrastructure, facility and public works projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinates with consultants, contractors, utilities and county departments to meet scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Administers procurement, contracts and grant requirements; prepares reports and maintains project documentation.
• Develops scopes, budgets, schedules and performance measures; facilitates project meetings and decisions.
