Job summary

Prince William County Service Authority Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to head the Project Management Office, directing complex programs and capital projects in the public utilities sector.

You will manage staff, consultants, and contractors, ensuring projects meet budgets, deliverables, and schedules while upholding DEI commitments. You will develop execution plans from the CIP, coordinate with senior management, and prepare monthly financial and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in civil/environmental eng. or related field.
• Minimum seven years in progressive project management/engineering for water/sewer facilities.
• PMI/PMI-UK PM credentials (PMP/CCM/PE) required upon hire or within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to the Program Management Office to meet strategic goals.
• Prepare and present financial and progress reports for assigned programs/projects.
• Direct CIP execution plans, schedules, and task assignments.
• Coordinate with senior leaders to assess needs and take action accordingly.
• Manage division budget and resources to ensure fiscal discipline.
• Develop and enforce project management policies and procedures.
• Negotiate and administer consulting and construction contracts.
• Ensure compliance with design, bid, and construction standards and approvals.
