Motorola Solutions is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Strategic Projects Team) to develop large project opportunities across core and emerging technologies. You will lead cross-functional teams, build trusted relationships with key decision makers in public safety and government sectors, and drive bids and revenue in a highly competitive market.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' sales/public safety experience or 8+ years in the field, strong negotiation and communication

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience or 8+ years in related field.
• Proven negotiation skills on large project opportunities.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Ability to drive strategies with government customers in competitive bid environments.
• Capable of multi-tasking across multiple active projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead the overall strategy, direction, and execution of identified strategic projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive business results and resolve issues.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers and influencers in public safety and government sectors.
• Drive procurement strategies with government customers for success in bid and sole-source environments.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and forecast orders and revenue on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, area services, marketing, product management, sales operations and order/credit management to meet territory objectives.
• Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management data.
• Travel 50%+ within the assigned territory.
