Job summary

Neel-Schaffer, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Proposal Manager to lead proposal development and business development across our nine-state footprint. You will craft compelling proposals and client communications, and manage the full proposal lifecycle with our Pursuit and Business Development teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in proposal or marketing roles within the AEC industry, exceptional writing and editing skills, and strong InDesign and Office proficiency; CPSM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• Five+ years of proposal/marketing/business development experience in the AEC industry.
• Proven success leading complex proposals from strategy through submission.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• CPSM preferred; willingness to obtain CPSM with company support.

Responsibilities

• Craft Winning Proposals: Create, review, proofread, and edit responses to RFPs, RFQs, presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate & Coordinate: Work closely with technical staff and manage the proposal process from beginning to end.
• Client Research: Research prospective clients and projects to develop winning strategies.
• Design & Develop: Conceptualize graphics and maintain InDesign templates.
• Events/Conferences: Develop event marketing strategies and manage resources.
• Database Management: Keep marketing materials and project database up-to-date.
