Qualifications

• BS/BA in management, journalism, English, or related discipline or 5+ years of proposal management experience.
• Experience managing proposals, presentations, and sales deliverables.
• Proposal experience in engineering/environmental industries.
• Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading with sales messaging focus.
• Business acumen to drive competitive positioning on pursuits.
• Well organized to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders across levels.
• Strong leadership to drive the sales process and coordinate teams in person or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate strategy sessions for opportunities, clients, accounts, or geographies.
• Support account and capture teams; lead integration of pursuit strategy into proposals.
• Analyze complex issues and develop solutions for sales-related activities.
• Lead proposal efforts and deliverables including win strategy and activities.
• Oversee proposal development process with client requirements, schedules, and budgets.
• Communicate issues, resource needs, and solutions timely.
• Perform research, writing, editing, and proposal production independently.
• Assemble proposal team and review boards to maximize document quality.
• Work with technical teams to develop compliant content and graphics.
• Coordinate with supporting functions during proposal development.
• Apply Jacobs’ sales practices for opportunity assessment and knowledge management.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication and negotiation.
• Apply brand guidelines on assigned projects.
• Budget and track level of effort for the proposal team.
