Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the preparation and production of proposals for federal sector opportunities, based out of any US office.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, develop win strategies, and ensure compliant, compelling proposals while guiding the pursuit lifecycle from strategy to submission.

This hybrid role requires strong writing, leadership, and client-focused skills, with a base salary range of $127,700 to $205,200 and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in management, journalism, English, or related humanities or technical discipline.
• 5+ years of proposal management experience.
• Proposal experience in the engineering and/or environmental industries.
• Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong business acumen to drive competitive positioning on pursuits.
• Well organized to manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively engage with various stakeholders, disciplines, and leaders across all levels of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate strategy sessions for opportunities, clients, accounts, and/or geographies.
• Lead proposal efforts and deliverables including win strategy development, active middle game activities, and proposal deliverables.
• Manage pursuit strategy, win themes, and calendar milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, responsive proposals and timely submissions.
• Budget and track level of effort for the proposal team and align resources across the pursuit lifecycle.
