Job summary

P2S|CMTA seeks an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead strategic proposals and business development content. You will partner with leadership, market leaders, project managers, and technical staff to translate pursuits into compelling, client-focused submissions.

You will supervise proposal staff, manage workloads, and drive best practices for content management and process improvements across offices along the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, PR, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in marketing and proposal management in A/E/C or professional services.
• Minimum 2 years of staff management experience.
• Experience managing high‑value proposals and qualifications packages.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes (public/private).
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit process for RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, interviews, and presentations.
• Develop pursuit schedules, matrices, checklists, and production plans.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, strategy sessions, and proposal reviews.
• Collaborate with technical teams on win themes and client messaging.
• Oversee proposal development from opportunity to final submittal.
• Ensure compliance and quality control of submissions on schedule.
• Coach presenters and support interview preparation.
