Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join our Marketing team in Texas.

You will lead the proposal development process for key pursuits, coordinating with marketing, business development and operations to craft compelling narratives and high-quality proposals across multiple Texas locations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 10 years in proposal management in engineering, strong InDesign skills, and the ability to coach teams through interviews and short-listed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
• 10 years of experience managing the proposal process in engineering or related industry.
• Specialized expertise in Adobe InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience leading TxDOT proposal development preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQ/RFP responses from initiation through submission.
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to address client needs and differentiators.
• Write, proofread, and edit proposal content including letters, resumes, and project descriptions.
• Coordinate with teaming partners to exchange data required for proposals.
• Complete proposal close-out activities and maintain organized records.
• Schedule and lead pursuit strategy meetings with cross-functional teams nationwide.
• Coach technical teams on interview presentations and develop materials.
• Refine content with proposal coordinators for continuous improvement.
• Align proposal strategies with broader business development goals.
