Job summary

Babcock Power Inc. in Lyman, SC is seeking a Proposal Manager for our Boiler Tube of America site.

You will lead proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives and work with sales, manufacturing reps, and management to shape pricing strategies. Responsibilities include reviewing customer technical specifications for contract and delivery compliance, coordinating data from procurement, quality and legal teams, and conducting internal reviews to ensure proposals meet monetary thresholds

Qualifications

• Engineering or Business 4-year degree preferred.
• Experience in the Power Industry preferred.
• Experience leading proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing representatives and management to determine pricing strategy for products.
• Review customer technical specifications on proposals for compliance with contract and delivery requirements.
• Obtain data from procurement, quality and legal teams to meet customer requirements for materials and delivery times.
• Perform internal and corporate reviews of proposals prior to submittal to ensure alignment with monetary thresholds.
