Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Special Projects Coordinator to support the School of Law with high‑priority projects and events. The role requires coordinating scheduling, travel, catering, venues, and vendor engagement across internal and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, advanced admin proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related platforms, and a track record of managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of progressive admin/office management experience, or an associate's degree with 1 year of experience, or a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Proven ability to manage complex events and strategic projects, with strong calendar scheduling, travel and vendor coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships with diverse internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate high-priority strategic projects and events aligned with the School's mission and leadership objectives.
  • Manage scheduling, calendaring, travel arrangements, catering, venue logistics, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors and external partners to ensure successful project delivery and professional execution.
