Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the Midwest/Central territory is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Strategic Projects Team) to develop large project opportunities across core and emerging technologies for public safety customers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build relationships with city and state officials, forecast orders and revenue, and drive bids in a competitive market to deliver Motorola’s safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in sales/public safety or 8+ years in sales/public safety.
• Proven negotiation skills on large project opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive strategies with government customers in competitive bids.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects in public safety with core and emerging technologies.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside public safety.
• Forecast orders and revenue weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet territory objectives.
