Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Project Scheduler for AES Clean Energy to develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects. You will summarize EPC schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule and monitor progress against baselines, explaining variances and reporting trends.

The role requires 8+ years of scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. A competitive benefits package is offered with annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with people of multifaceted backgrounds and reach consensus on complex issues.
• 8+ years of scheduling experience in solar, O&G, utility, renewable, or construction.
• Apply scheduling techniques using scheduling software and perform scheduling analysis.
• Lead others in developing schedules and plans in an effective and timely manner.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule data, verify dates and WBS.
• Evaluate work packages for feasibility.
• Recommend alternative methods to achieve customer results.
• Communicate status and corrective actions with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate with developers and managers to convey schedule information.
• Develop and maintain project baselines.
• Ensure resources are available to maintain schedules; report issues.
• Prepare standard Scheduling reports reflecting status and actions.
• Coordinate projects to ensure plans are achievable.
• May act as delegate for Scheduling Manager.
• Develop schedule analysis for EPC contract adherence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
