Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue, or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and revenue timing questions.
• Proficient Excel skills with reconciliations and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly revenue recognition for projects and services; ensure correct period and terms.
• Prepare and reconcile deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and work‑in‑progress.
• Review contracts for billing terms; flag anomalies to Finance Director.
• Bill with complex milestones; support normal invoice volume as needed.
• Maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Provide coverage for billing and AP during absences; document processes.
