Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in Finance or equivalent
• Proficient in accounting principles including revenue recognition and month-end close
• Experience with revenue accounting, general accounting, financial analysis, or audit
• Proficient in Excel with Pivot Tables, translations not required
• Experience working with pre-built Power Query and SQL queries
• Strong analytical and quantitative financial skills
• Ability to investigate and explain financial variances
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support revenue and subsidiary accounting activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Process and record cash receipts
• Complete daily, weekly, and month-end accounting activities
• Analyze and provide commentary on financial variances
• Research variances and identify root causes
• Consolidate information from multiple sources to understand revenue impacts
• Prepare financial and operational reports
• Support process improvements related to accounting activities
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand business and operational changes affecting financial results
