Job summary

King County's Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) seeks a skilled program support professional for a two-year term-limited assignment. The role supports Level Up initiatives, handles data gathering, reporting, and dashboard development, and maintains Teams/SharePoint sites.

Emphasis on equity and collaboration within a hybrid Seattle-area workflow. RESPONSIBILITIES include drafting materials, reviewing briefing content, ensuring branding consistency, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Three years of recent experience supporting complex projects or programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism in all communications.
• Experience gathering and analyzing data, outcomes, reports, and quality improvement recommendations.
• Ability to maintain security and confidentiality and handle matters ethically.
• Experience with websites/digital collaboration platforms like Teams and SharePoint, including site management.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Understanding of equity, racial and social justice principles and applying them to work.

Responsibilities

• Draft, format, proofread, and finalize correspondence, reports, and materials with attention to detail.
• Review briefing materials and presentations for internal/external use consistent with DCHS branding.
• Analyze data and documents for internal/external compliance projects.
• Route and respond to general inquiries from DCHS contractors.
• Track training waiver requests and training completions.
• Develop dashboards to monitor training completion rates.
• Set up and manage Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites.
• Establish consistent file structures and naming conventions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
