Job summary

MSB Consulting Engineers in Metairie, LA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Controls team. You will plan, coordinate, and manage projects from initiation to completion, with a strong focus on schedule, budget, communication, risk management, and successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and organized leader who can manage multiple priorities and work across technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Five to seven years of project management or related experience.
• PMP certification and/or PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and resources to establish effective plans.
• Coordinate estimates, SOWs, RFPs, and planning documentation.
• Ensure budgets are accurately phased and tracked in Unanet and related systems.
• Define project responsibilities, deliverables, and schedules with teams.
• Lead kickoff meetings and regular status reviews with stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, milestones, and overall performance; communicate updates to clients.
