EXCEL Group is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our industrial construction team in Louisiana. The role focuses on establishing controls, planning, budgeting, and performance measurement to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and procurement to develop plans, track progress, forecast costs, manage changes, and report performance. Requires a Bachelor's in a related field and hands-on experience with Primavera/Microsoft

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Controls Specialist in industrial contracting or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel).
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industrial construction processes, procedures, and safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for industrial construction projects.
• Establish and implement project controls procedures, including cost estimation, progress tracking, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Monitor project progress, analyze deviations from plans, and provide regular status updates to management and project teams.
• Manage the change management process by assessing scope changes, evaluating their impact on schedule and budget, and communicating changes to relevant parties.
• Develop and maintain project cost control systems, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor resource allocation and utilization, ensuring that the project stays within resource limits.
• Analyze project risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support project schedules.
• Prepare and present project performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, progress, and potential challenges.
• Participate in project meetings and provide expertise on project controls-related matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations throughout project execution.
