Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC in Mississippi is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Manager with deep experience in Mission Critical data centers to lead our project controls team.

You will work with the Site Manager to implement contract-driven plans, manage cost, schedule, and change orders, and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards. You will direct a team, monitor costs, update schedules, and coordinate with procurement and accounting to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or a related technical degree.
• Approximately 5 years hands-on field experience in the industrial electrical and instrumentation industry.
• Approximately ten (10) years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation project controls.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Vista.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications and contract language.
• Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
• Strong ability to self-manage planning, organizing, delegating and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Direct and train Project Coordinator staff and report to Site Manager/Project Manager.
• Maintain proper communication and documentation between the office and field.
• Understand contract requirements and protect ISC from exposure.
• Monitor actual costs to ensure maximum return on cost.
• Create and maintain cost, productivity, and schedule programs with management.
• Review contracts, bid and construction documents and manage requirements.
• Prepare committed cost reports and assist with monthly projections.
• Manage material release schedule with Purchasing Agent and Site Manager/Project Manager.
