WSP USA seeks a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams, guiding budgeting, rate setting, and financial planning across a portfolio of medium to high-complexity projects. The role emphasizes profitability, risk identification, and compliance, with experience in ERP systems and data visualization.

You will work with Project Managers to align financial outcomes with enterprise objectives, monitor budgets, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and contract execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely related discipline, or proven equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of post-education experience in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to sound financial management of projects by acting as an active financial partner to Project Managers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and financial terms.
• Provide guidance on initial project setup, including WBS development, budgeting, rate selection, and pricing tool inputs.
• Advise on project financial planning and risk identification.
• Review labor structures to identify rate optimization and margin improvement.
• Monitor project budgets and forecasts, and ensure revenue recognition adherence.
• Coordinate and review DBE/WBE/XBE reporting for applicable regions and ensure compliance.
