Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to serve as a trusted finance partner to project delivery teams across the full project lifecycle, aligning financial outcomes with enterprise objectives and ensuring disciplined financial stewardship.

You will lead budgeting, revenue recognition, forecast reviews, and risk assessments for medium to high-complexity projects, advise on profitability, working capital, and contract execution, and escalate issues with FP&A and Controllership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5-7 years of experience in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Proficiency in translating financial concepts, contract lifecycle management, and analysis for decision making.
• Advanced Excel, ERP tools, and data visualization capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication to influence leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers to manage project finances and ensure contractual financial terms are met.
• Review budgets, forecasts, revenue recognition, and cost-to-serve for project profitability.
• Advise on WBS development, budgeting, rate selection, and pricing tool inputs.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to FP&A and Controllership.
