Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a seasoned Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams, ensuring financial outcomes align with corporate objectives. You will manage budgets, revenue recognition, and risk reviews across a portfolio of projects while guiding WBS development, staffing, and pricing inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or proven equivalent experience in accounting, business or related field.
• 5–7 years post-education experience in project finance or commercial finance in engineering, construction or services.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Experience with WIP/Revenue Recognition and contracts.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/Oracle proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers to ensure alignment with contractual and financial objectives.
• Support project setup, budgeting, rate selection and pricing tool input.
• Monitor margins, working capital and risk for a multi-project portfolio.
• Review labor structures, rates and cap rates for recoverability and profitability.
• Manage revenue recognition, accruals and contract execution controls.
• Coordinate audits, responses and regulatory inquiries with controllership and FP&A.
