Job summary

The Mosaic Company, headquartered in Lithia, Florida, is seeking a Finance Analyst for Capital Projects to provide analytical and financial support to site managers, prepare accruals, forecasts, and monthly variance analyses, and assist with procurement and asset depreciation.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree with 2+ years of analyst experience, solid accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Fieldglass, and Project Online; English fluency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; 2+ yrs in a business-analyst role.
• Or Associate degree with 5+ yrs in capital project analytics/controls.
• Understanding of general accounting and finance principles is essential.
• Broad understanding of internal controls and their purpose.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; SAP, Fieldglass, and Project Online preferred.
• English fluency required; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing analytical/finance support to engineering project managers and Site or Area Capital Manager.
• Assist annual Rack & Stack (Capital Budget) planning for next year.
• Submit Project Intake requests and manage document workflow via SharePoint.
• Perform accruals, forecasting, and monthly variance analyses in SAP Noveco; update monthly forecasts.
• Maintain cost workbooks and project schedules in POL; ensure timely status updates in SAP.
• Collaborate with procurement to close Purchase Orders and assist with project completion reports.
