Job summary

The Mosaic Company is seeking a finance/analyst professional to provide ongoing analytical and accounting support to engineering project managers and the Site/Area Capital team in Lithia, Florida. You will help with annual capital budgeting, accruals, forecasting, and variance analysis using SAP, POL, and Power BI.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics (or an associates with 5+ years), strong accounting knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 2+ years of analyst experience, or an associate degree with 5+ years in related role.
• Understanding of general accounting and finance principles.
• Broad understanding of internal controls and their purpose.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to commute/work in-office M-F during core business hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing analytical/finance support to engineering project managers and Site or Area Capital Manager (including ad-hoc reporting and compliance with policy and SOX controls).
• Facilitate annual Rack & Stack Capital Budget planning for next year.
• Prepare and submit Project Intake requests for Workflow approval via PowerApps; SharePoint document management.
• Support accruals, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis; prepare monthly accrual journal entries in SAP/Noveco.
• Maintain cost workbooks and project schedules in POL; ensure timely status updates in SAP.
• Collaborate with procurement to close Purchase Orders; assist Closeout Specialist with project completion reports.
