Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking a Project Coordinator II to assist in creating and executing plans for complex projects that extend beyond regular operations. You will follow projects through all phases, develop the project plan, and ensure adherence to the plan, with oversight of the budget.

The role involves coordinating activities across departments, maintaining schedules, organizing meetings, tracking deliverables, generating reports, and ensuring timely communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex project activities ensuring quality, timeliness, and integrity of ongoing projects and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules including administrative tasks.
  • Lead assigned project activities and allocate work to team members as needed.
  • Partner with managers, outside contractors, vendors and consultants as required.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets; monitor expenses and ensure payments charged to the project.
  • Organize and facilitate project-related meetings; prepare agendas and materials.
  • Monitor deliverables and timelines; notify management of issues and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of project activity.
  • Develop reports and other deliverables as assigned.
  • Track project changes and update schedules as required.
  • Develop test scenarios if applicable.
  • Handle conference travel planning and departmental correspondence related to the project.
  • Perform other related duties.
