Job summary

The role ensures staffing, space, and resources are aligned with program goals, coordinates interdepartmental activities and training, and supports budgeting, grants and data collection to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job.
• 3+ years experience coordinating and administering program activities for assigned area

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate staffing, space, equipment and resources are available to support services and meet program goals.
• Monitor workflow and adjust to ensure timely completion of program support activities; provide staff training as needed.
• Coordinate with staff in other departments to coordinate program activities and training; accomplish program objectives; ensure cooperative efforts are enhanced and available resources are utilized.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness; improve support operations and systems to increase efficiency.
• Assist in planning, coordination and implementation of seminars, conferences and workshops; propose ideas for program themes and materials.
• Assist in preparation of program budgets and grants; monitor, verify and reconcile budget expenditures.
• May participate in hiring, performance appraisal, promotions, transfers and other personnel transactions as assigned.
• Performs other related duties.
