Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Program Coordinator II to provide administrative, operational, and programmatic support to a complex program area within a hospital setting. You will coordinate resources, track program metrics, and assist with budgets and grants while ensuring adherence to policies.

You will collaborate across departments, arrange staff training, and help improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
• 3+ years' experience coordinating and administering program activities in an academic medical center, hospital, healthcare department, or clinical operations setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Tracking outstanding items, elevate issues appropriately, and ensure timely completion.
• Adaptability and willingness to navigate changing priorities.
• Strong follow-through and accountability.
• Working independently, with guidance, while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Supporting process improvement and maintain documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, operational and programmatic support to assigned program area.
• Coordinate and oversee program resources to meet goals and objectives.
• Monitor workflow and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to support program activities and training.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and process improvements.
• Prepare program budgets and assist in grant administration and reporting.
