Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking a Research Project Manager I to oversee operational aspects of designated projects and department initiatives. You will support leadership, organize events and initiatives, and monitor timelines, budgets, and staff allocations.

You will coordinate staffing, recruit personnel, and liaise with vendors and consultants to keep projects on schedule and within funding parameters. Prior experience in PM and collaboration across teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with Master's degree; 5+ years with Bachelor's degree; PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated project(s) to meet goals within time and budget.
  • Alter plans and advise on future project phases based on lessons learned.
  • Participate in project budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensure staffing and resources meet project phases and goals.
  • Confer with staff to outline work plans and assign duties.
  • Direct project personnel, including consultants and vendors, to keep progress on schedule.
  • Review status reports and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Prepare management and client project reports and provide technical guidance.
  • Coordinate onboarding and administrative activities for personnel and Fellows.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities and partnerships.
  • Coordinate contract management and vendor agreements; ensure compliance.
