Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Project Coordinator to develop and manage project plans, coordinate activities across the integration team, and ensure work proceeds within scope, time, and cost constraints.

You will assist with day-to-day tasks, maintain project workplans, prepare status reports, and help track budgets and risks while collaborating with cross-functional teams. PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
• 1-3 years of experience in working with cross functional teams.
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required based on experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration, supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective.
• Develop new systems; techniques and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking.
• Works with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitors overall health of projects.
• Review plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with the master schedule; resolve scheduling and inter-functional conflicts.
• Participate in or lead daily, weekly or monthly meetings. Review to track and report project status, identifying deviations or adverse trends.
• Tracks and oversees project costs against project budgets.
