Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Project Coordinator/Manager to develop and manage project plans, coordinate project activities, and support integration initiatives from inception through completion. You will assist integration leaders with day-to-day tasks, maintain workplans, and facilitate meetings to ensure projects stay on scope, time, and budget.

The role requires 1–3 years in project coordination or management, strong Excel skills, and effective cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
• PMP or relevant certification preferred but not required based on experience.
• Project management skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Integration and supports all integration projects from a coordination perspective.
• Develops new systems, techniques, and procedures for automated planning systems, reporting, issue resolution, risk management and budget tracking.
• Works with project team to drive accuracy of report outs, maintenance of ongoing workplans, and monitors overall health of projects.
• Reviews plans and schedules of other participating functions for compliance with the master schedule; resolves scheduling and inter-functional conflicts.
• Participates in or leads daily, weekly, or monthly meetings; reviews to track and report project status, identifying deviations or adverse trends.
• Tracks and oversees project costs against project budgets.
