Job summary

Project Management Institute seeks a scheduling specialist to manage Primavera P6-based EPC construction schedules. You will develop WBS, durations, logic, and cost plans, then monitor progress to protect deadlines.

Lead weekly STWP and related meetings with the project team, coordinating with engineering and construction to recover schedules as needed. Responsibilities include schedule analysis, look-ahead planning, and data-driven reporting using Excel and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 12 months experience in the job offered in a related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 60 months of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience is accepted.
• Experience includes construction scheduling, Primavera P6, and project cost and schedule analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, establish, and maintain schedule data in Primavera P6 for proposals or construction EPC projects.
• Optimize scheduling for critical activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Develop WBS, durations, workflow logic, and required job expenditure.
• Monitor schedule, identify critical activities, and update for various applications or disciplines.
• Lead weekly STWP meetings with the project team and coordinate with construction.
• Review and analyze production unit rates and maintain schedule performance metrics.
• Perform schedule analyses to identify and address problem areas.
