Job summary

Redwood is seeking a Staff Construction Project Controls Specialist, EPC, to lead scheduling across large-scale infrastructure projects in the US. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, coordinate with engineers and project teams, and ensure alignment with cost controls and baselines.

Responsibilities include critical path analysis, risk assessment, and producing forecasts and status reports for stakeholders. Strong experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or related fields, preferably in construction, engineering, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of project management principles including critical path analysis and earned value management (EVM).
• Experience with risk management and schedule risk analysis.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding schedule management and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project details and ensure accurate schedule development.
• Monitor project progress and performance to identify potential scheduling issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic schedule reports, including critical path analysis, project forecasts, and status updates for stakeholders.
• Maintain and update project baselines, ensuring changes are documented and schedules revised accordingly.
• Conduct what-if scenario analysis to forecast potential project impacts and devise mitigation plans.
• Track and document schedule deviations and assess their impact on the project timeline.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of scheduling activities and provide training to team members as needed.
• Coordinate with the cost control team to integrate schedule and cost information for consistent reporting.
