Job summary

Petroplan is seeking a P6 Project Scheduler in Fountain Valley, CA to build and maintain Primavera P6 schedules for multiple concurrent EPC projects across midstream, downstream, power generation, and industrial infrastructure markets.

You will partner with project managers, engineers, and field teams to manage critical paths, forecast schedule risks, and deliver executive schedule reports to support on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 schedules for multiple concurrent small- to mid-cap EPC projects across midstream, downstream, power generation, and industrial infrastructure markets.
• Build logic-driven schedules reflecting engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and contractors to manage critical path activities and forecast schedule risks.
• Perform progress measurement, schedule updates, delay analysis, and executive reporting to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Serve as a key project controls resource with advanced P6 expertise and knowledge of industrial facilities and construction sequencing.
• Manage multiple projects schedules concurrently.

P6 Project Scheduler

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 schedules for multiple concurrent small- to mid-cap EPC projects across midstream, downstream, power generation, and industrial infrastructure markets.
• Build logic-driven schedules that accurately reflect engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities, with a strong understanding of how projects are executed in the field.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and contractors to manage critical path activities, forecasting, schedule risks, and recovery plans across a portfolio of active projects.
• Perform progress measurement, schedule updates, delay analysis, and executive reporting to support on-time and on-budget project delivery.
• Serve as a key project controls resource, combining advanced P6 expertise with solid technical knowledge of industrial facilities, equipment installation, construction sequencing, and project execution.
• Manage multiple projects schedules concurrently.
