Job summary

Cornell University in New York City seeks a Lead Program Coordinator to support the Scheinman Institute's program delivery, events, and client relations. This is a full-time, non-academic staff role with benefits eligibility, located in the ILR Extension office at 570 Lexington Ave and offering a 3:2 campus-to-home hybrid schedule.

The position coordinates conferences, workshops, and program administration, with travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years in program, project or event management in academic or professional setting.
• Ability to manage projects from conception to completion with strong organization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, administrative operations, and financial processes for multiple programs.
• Plan and execute conferences, workshops, and events.
• Support marketing and communications with ILR team.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance program websites and web content.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures; manage travel and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate mediation/case management activities and supervise staff.
