Job summary

Cornell University’s Scheinman Institute within the ILR School is seeking a Lead Program Coordinator – Coord Program I in the NYC Extension/Outreach Division. The role coordinates program delivery, budgets, and events, supporting LAI, professional programs, and custom programming.

The successful candidate will manage scheduling, collaborate with faculty and external partners, and supervise staff while maintaining high-quality service and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 0
• Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in program, project or event management.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, manage, implement and monitor projects from conception to completion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel frequently across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, administrative operations, and financial processes for multiple programs.
• Plan and execute conferences, workshops, and events.
• Support marketing and communications efforts with ILR Marketing and Communications.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of program websites.
• Monitor program expenditures and budget reports.
• Coordinate mediation and case management activities.
• Supervise staff.
