Job summary

Cornell University invites applications for the Lead Program Coordinator–Coord Program I in the Scheinman Institute, NYC Extension. The role coordinates program delivery and administrative functions for ILR’s Scheinman Institute, LAI, labor relations programs and custom training.

The successful candidate will plan events, manage budgets, support marketing, and help maintain program websites, with frequent travel and a hybrid work schedule based in New York City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in program, project or event management.
• Ability to plan, develop, manage, implement and monitor projects and events.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage interactions with faculty, professionals, contractors and clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks on simultaneous projects in a fast-paced office.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, administrative operations, and financial processes for multiple programs.
• Plan and execute conferences, workshops, and events.
• Support marketing and communications with the ILR Marketing team.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining program websites.
• Monitor expenditures and budget reports; coordinate mediation and case management.
