Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a Stars Strategy & Operations Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex programs with multiple workstreams from inception to delivery.

You will partner with Medicare Stars leadership and cross-functional teams across customer experience, pharmacy, clinical, and provider-facing functions to drive strategic initiatives that improve Stars performance and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 5 years project management experience OR 7 years project management experience.
• Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies (PMBOK) and experience delivering large/complex projects.
• Experience in budget tracking and financial reporting for projects.
• Experience in negotiations, conflict management, and political savvy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and meeting facilitation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; adaptable to changing priorities.
• Ability to create integrated, milestone-driven critical path project plans.
• Experience in a matrix organization and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SDLC and HCSC delivery models (OWF, Scrum, XP).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs with multiple workstreams.
• Partner with Medicare Stars leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
• Manage scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Remove barriers, escalate risks, and drive execution to achieve business outcomes.
• Communicate effectively on behalf of leadership and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and maintain milestone-driven project plans and governance artifacts.
