Job summary

IEHP in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, seeks a Special Programs Manager II – Medicare Stars to lead and coordinate CMS Stars initiatives, quality improvement, and regulatory readiness. You will manage interdepartmental projects, support audits, and drive data-driven decisions while ensuring fiscal sustainability.

Reporting to the Director of Medicare Stars, you will collaborate across technology deployments, operations, and analytics teams to deliver timely, compliant programs and maintain IEHP's

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in healthcare quality and is a strategic thinker with experience in program/project management.
• Experience in developing plans and has application experience of standard Project Management practices.
• Prior experience implementing Medicare Star Measure interventions preferred.
• Experience with Risk Adjustment calculations and financial analysis related to Medicare Advantage membership populations preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing targeted quality improvement activities.
• Master's degree in public health, health administration, or a related field preferred; PMP/PMI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdepartmental system configuration and process projects focused on CMS Stars operations and quality improvement.
• Manage support for internal and external audits (NCQA, CMS, etc.) and ensure documentation readiness.
• Provide expertise in project management processes for release management and issue resolution.
• Collaborate across technology deployments and analytics teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
