Job summary

Arlo Solutions is seeking a Deputy Director to lead the Programs Department across the full lifecycle of contract management. The role focuses on strategic guidance, operational execution, scoping contracts, and serving as interim Program Manager when needed.

The position is remote with preference for candidates near the Washington, DC area for meetings. You will liaise with HQ departments and customers, develop scalable processes, and ensure high-quality program delivery on complex government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10–15+ years of professional experience including 5+ years in program management.
• Federal government contract program management experience.
• Strategic thinking with experience developing frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Experience leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Critical problem solving and contingency planning.
• Client service and service delivery excellence.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders and clients.
• Background in risk management, quality management, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational goals of the Programs Department to enable sustainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with business development on scoping for proposals and contracts; advise on solutions and staffing models.
• Work with Finance to improve budgeting, forecasting, and contract monitoring.
• Act as backup for the Director of Program Management on initiatives across departments.
• Lead Transition Program Management for new contracts and initial 60–90+ day transitions.
• Provide interim program management on vacancies and longer-term engagements as needed.
• Liaise with customers, HQ departments, and teaming partners to ensure alignment.
• Develop and maintain project management deliverables and manage contract risks.
